Day-1 Arrival at Chandigarh - Shimla

Setting off: Chandigarh to Shimla

Your representative meets you at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station for the roughly 110 km, 3-hour drive to Shimla, with a stop for lunch en route (at your own expense). Check in with a welcome drink and spend the evening at leisure, taking in your first views of Shimla after the journey. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-2 Shimla: Kufri & Shimla Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, head out for a half-day trip to Kufri, a small hill station whose name comes from a local word for "lake." Its Himalayan zoo houses antelope, wild cats and birds including the Himalayan Monal, with views from Mahasu Peak and optional horse riding at your own cost. Back in Shimla by evening, take in Scandal Point, the Ridge and Himalayan panoramas, the statues of Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi, Christ Church, the wooden crafts of Lakkar Bazaar, Gaiety Theatre and Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-3 Shimla to Manali: Enroute Kullu Emporium

Onward to Manali via the Kullu emporium

After breakfast, check out and drive to Manali, passing Pandoh Dam, the Aut Tunnel and apple orchards, with a stop to browse the Kullu emporium. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

Day-4 Manali: Solang Valley & Vashisht Village

After breakfast, visit Solang Valley for its snow-capped Himalayan views, the Beas River and meadows that stay dusted with snow through much of the year. It's the base for optional paragliding, biking and other adventure sports, plus a scenic cable car ride, all payable directly on the day. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day-5 Manali: Local Sightseeing & Mall Road

Hadimba Temple and an afternoon on Mall Road

After breakfast, spend the day on Manali's sights: Hadimba Devi Temple (also called Dhungri Temple), Manu Temple, the Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar and Manali Nature Park, finishing with time to browse Mall Road. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

Day-6 Manali To Dharamshala

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Dharamshala. Check in and spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-7 Dharamshala: Local Sightseeing - Dalhousie

Dharamshala's monasteries, then on to Dalhousie

After breakfast, check out and set off on a city tour of Dharamshala, taking in Naddi, Dal Lake, Bhagsu Nag Temple and its waterfall, the Tibetan Monastery and the Dalai Lama Temple, with a photo stop at HPCA Stadium. After lunch, continue to Dalhousie and check in, with the evening free for shopping. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-8 Dalhousie: Local Sightseeing - Khajjiar

Kala Top, Bakrota Hills and "Mini Switzerland"

Enjoy breakfast, then set out for a full-day excursion to Kala Top, Bakrota Hills and Khajji Lake at Khajjiar, often called the "Mini Switzerland of India" for its meadow ringed by pine forest. Horse riding, paragliding and zorbing are available here at your own expense. Back in Dalhousie by evening, take a city and shopping tour past Panchpula, Subhash Baoli and the local church, with time to browse the shops. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-9 Dalhousie: Departure to Chandigarh
